DESCRIPCIÓN:
Chagall returned to France, after his exile in the United States, in 1947. After a stay in Orgeval, then in St.-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, he settled permanently at Les Collines, in Vence. Important exhibitions of his works were held at the Paris Musée National d’Art Moderne, in Amsterdam and in Dusseldorf. Then, in 1950, they were shown at the Galerie Maeght, in Paris.
