DESCRIPCIÓN:

Lithographic reproduction executed by Charles Sorlier from the right side of an original lithograph of Chagall, “The Bay of Angels,” 1967.
Poster printed for a one-man show of engravings at the Ponchettes Gallery in Nice.
This album brings together the production of twelve Chagall gouaches on the theme of the Côte d’Azur. Chagall engraved especially for this work a chapter site and a cul-de-lamp (reproduced in the poster) accompanying the text of Mr. Jean Adhemar. These two lithographs were taken over by Chagall to become ‘La Grande Corniche’ and the ‘Baie des Anges’.
