DESCRIPCIÓN:

Nineteen eighty-four went downin Africa’s history as the “year of disaster”.
More than one million people died of starvation on the Horn of Africa. Haring organized a charity
event to benefit UNICEF in the Paradise Garage, a discotheque in New York, and mounted an
exhibition at 292 Lafayette Street, where his Pop Shop opened a year later.
Lichtenstein supplied his landscapes for the poster, initiated by Haring, and Warhol provided the
umbrellas, Basquiat a blackfigure with a poem and Yoko Ono the footprints.
