DESCRIPCIÓN:

This is one of the most beautiful posters Picasso designed. Its gay and harmonious colors and its balanced composition make this linocut one of the Maestro’s successes. The aim of the poster was to invite people to Vallau
ris, the land of sweet flower-covered paths, aromatic trees and handsome strawberry bushes; a land renowed for its perfumes, ceramics and its bright sunshine. Picasso symbolized the charm of the region using orimary colors (red, blue and yellow), with cool (blue) and warm (red, yellow) tones. These turned out to be perfect for achieving the intensity he sought in his drawing of the plants and the insects which germinate them, and of the sun which illuminates the whole poster.
