Two poster was created for publicity in bistros and cafes in France. They won the
French poster Grand Prix in 1983, the only award Warhol ever received for his work as poster
designer.
This one print on Saunders Waterford (Hot Pressed) has a stamp in verso “Andy Warhol”
This rare original poster by Andy Warhol was created in 1983 for an advertising campaign for
Perrier and comes directly from the artist’s estate. This poster earned Warhol the French poster
Grand Prix, the only award he ever won for a poster. Perrier is renowned for its innovative
marketing imagery, having employed a multitude of famous artists, such as Milton Glaser and
Salvador Dalí, and even filmmakers, including Ridley Scott, for its campaigns.
