DESCRIPCIÓN:
In this drawing made by Jean Cocteau during his stay in Marbella,
he represents a flamenco singer in which he adds a sandwich
that says “The day you were born the sun was dressed in clean
clothes and there was a party in the sky that went down to Jesus
Christ”. Above this man is a bull’s head, which is taken as a symbol
of Spain. We can say that the work is surrealist, with all that poetic
and evocative capacity, which was the one that best suited his art,
but in the end this art was so unclassifiable that we could say it is
a Cocteauian style.
