In this work we have the cover of Bela Bartók’s album, called
“Mikrokosmos Suite”, made by Saul Steinberg. The work is played
by The New Symphony Orchestra of London. Béla Bartók was
a Hungarian musician who excelled as a composer, pianist and
researcher of Eastern European folk music. He is considered one
of the greatest composers of the 20th century. He was one of the
founders of ethnomusicology, based on the relationship between
ethnology and musicology. In the work we can see Steinberg’s
basic characteristic which is the use of his work as a way of
reasoning on paper.
