Interpretative rendering of a lithograph by Charles Sorlier.
This plate was inspired by a tiny original lithograph in black and white dating from 1959 and featured in the work Designs for the Bible issued by Editions Verve.
After making a considerable enlargement of this work, the artist developed a color scheme and thus created the dummy for this plate.
Poster printed for an exhibition of a group of painters and glassworkers at the Cultural Center of Reims.
