Original lithographic poster for the Museums of Basel and Berne.
Lithograph composed for the poster of the Chagall exhibition at the Kunshalle in Berne, then in Basel, with altered text. Wasserman, the Basel printer, sent Chagall, in Vence, gummed paper, in this large format, and the artist composed the black part of his design in his own atelier. The colors were added in the print-shop.
