Interpretative rendering of an engraving by Charles Sorlier from one of the preliminary sketches for the large canvas, “The Struggle of Jacob and the Angel.” This poster was printed for an exhibition of the important collection donated by Mr. and Mrs. Marc Chagall to the French nation which took place at the Museum of the Louvre in Paris. This exceptional gift is permanently on display at the National Marc Chagall Biblical Message Museum in Nice.
